The Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON), Igando, has officially commenced admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session, reaffirming its commitment to producing highly skilled nursing professionals equipped to meet the evolving healthcare needs of Lagos State and Nigeria.
As one of the state's foremost institutions for nursing education, the College continues to provide quality training that combines academic excellence with extensive clinical exposure. The four-year programme prepares students for professional practice and culminates in the award of the National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), Registered Midwife (RM) and Registered Public Health Nurse (RPHN) qualifications.
Prospective candidates who meet the admission requirements are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity by applying through the College's online admission portal. The admission exercise includes a Computer Assisted Screening (CAS), which forms part of the institution's transparent and merit-driven selection process.
To be eligible, applicants are expected to have scored at least 200 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), selected Lagos State College of Nursing as their first-choice institution, and possess the required O'Level credits in the relevant science subjects.
Applications will remain open until 21 July 2026, after which qualified candidates will participate in the Computer Assisted Screening scheduled for 22 August 2026 at the College premises in Igando.
The College advises prospective applicants to complete their registration only through the official application portal, www.lascon.edu.ng, and to remain vigilant against fraudsters. LASCON does not authorise third parties to process admissions, nor does it sell past examination questions.
