PROVOST URGES STAFF AND STUDENTS TO REMAIN COMMITTED TO SERVICE DELIVERY

The Provost of the Lagos State College of Nursing has urged members of staff and students to remain committed to effective service delivery as the College begins activities for the new year.

The Provost, Dr. Mrs. Ayodeji Ogunmuyiwa, made this call during a New Year Inter-Denominational Thanksgiving Service held on the first workday of the year at the College. The service brought together staff and students to thank God for the successful completion of the previous year and to seek divine guidance for the year ahead.

In her welcome address, Dr. Ogunmuyiwa emphasized the importance of dedication, professionalism, and teamwork in achieving the institution’s mandate. She encouraged staff and students to embrace unity, resilience, and focus in order to advance the College’s vision and mission both locally and internationally.

According to her, “The new year presents another opportunity for us to renew our commitment to excellence in service delivery. Through unity of purpose, resilience, and unwavering focus, we can continue to position the Lagos State College of Nursing as a centre of excellence in nursing education.”

She further called on all members of the College community to uphold high ethical standards, remain disciplined in their duties, and work collaboratively to enhance academic and administrative outcomes.

The inter-denominational thanksgiving service featured prayers, songs of praise, and messages of encouragement, setting a positive tone for the year’s academic and administrative activities.
