VISION STATEMENT
The vision is to consciously and systematically enshrine the concept of fundamental and effective planning into all facets of the College. This involves planning with the plans of various segment of the College in order to accomplish the overall vision, mission and objectives of the College.
DIRECTOR ACADEMIC PLANNING
Director. Academic Planning is the overall head of the academic planning directorate within an educational institution, college
The Director in charge of planning, organising and managing academic policies and resources to ensure quality and standards of academic programmes
ROLEThe roles of academic directorate includes the following
Guiding and monitoring College activities in accordance with the statutory goals, mission and vision of the College
Interface with other departments in the College with regards to Academic matters which includes ICT, Exams and Records, Student Affairs etc
Communicate with JAMB via a dedicated email platform, Central Admission Processing System (CAPS)
Rendering secretarial and academic services for the allocation of teaching and research, equipments, grants and direct teaching and laboratory cost.
Monitoring of Research Allocation and utilisation
Supervising accreditation and re-accreditation process
Liaison with other Colleges, Departments and Unit
Curriculum development, Review and Evaluation
Planning and Developing new academic programmes
Ensuring existing ones meet quality benchmarks
Managing students and staff data for Budgeting and strategic planning
Determination of adequate staff strength and requirement
Present processed results (internal objectives examination) for approvals
Acting as a key adviser to the College
Any other assignments directed by the Provost
